Strengths

Johnny's avant-garde, flamboyant style may help him stand out among mainstream designers. His open-mindedness to try new looks could breathe new life onto the runway.

Weaknesses

Johnny R. may be this competition's wild child, and unless he can show a little restraint, this rule breaker may get booted. He's new to the design world, and his lack of experience may make him more susceptible to buckling under the pressure.

Johnny has been designing for over five years, but already holds an impressive resume. After attending the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising, he began working alongside RAMPAGE STORE’s design director in San Diego. After a short stint, he moved back to Los Angeles to develop private labels for Urban Outfitters, Arden B., and Macys. Johnny landed a job developing a contemporary line for Nordstrom, and eventually created his own collection, Grandma's Glock, a modern day streetwear line. Johnny's successful collection consisted of fashion forward basics that barred no gender.
