How To Play

Follow these steps to start scoring points

01

REGISTER

Registration for the Top Chef Fantasy Game has ended. To register for the Make Me A Supermodel Fantasy Game go HERE.

02

STUDY THE POINT RULES

Before you select your team each week, be sure to check the latest point rules, which will determine how many points you gain or lose each week. Check the list frequently and carefully -- we may add a new point rule each week.

03

STUDY THE CONTESTANTS

Get to know this season’s Top Chef contestants — Who’s got an impressive resume? Who looks hungry to win? — by viewing their bios and stats. (And, of course, watch the show every Wednesday at 10/9c, to gauge the chefs’ strengths and weaknesses.)

04

READY? ASSEMBLE YOUR TOP CHEF TEAM!

Pick three Top Chef contestants that you predict will earn you the highest score, based on the week's point rules. You may change the chefs on your team at any time until 9 PM ET on show premiere night. (Any changes entered after that time will be applied to the following week’s game.)

05

SEE HOW YOU & AND YOUR FRIENDS & ARE DOING

Every time you sign in, you’ll see your personal score and ranking, a list of the top 10 scores, and the scores of up to three other teams you’ve selected to watch throughout the game.

06

End-of-Game Play

The Final Competition Period will begin on February 12, after conclusion of the last Weekly Competition. At this time, the game will change so that registered players will oonly be able to select ONE of the remaining chefs as Top Chef! You will have between Feb. 12 until Feb. 25, the night of the finale, to select a Top Chef.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Where can I find the official game rules?

Funny you should ask. For the official rules, all you have to do is click here.

Is it okay to join the game mid-season?

Yes. It may hurt your chances to earn enough points for the Grand Prize. But you will still qualify for weekly prizes if you score the highest points.

Can I change my chefs each week?

Yes. You can change your chefs as many times as you’d like. But any changes made after the 10 PM (9 Central) premiere of a new episode will be applied to the following week’s episode.

What if all my chefs get eliminated?

You may be embarrassed. But it doesn’t disqualify you from the game. You can pick three new chefs for the next week.

What is the weekly prize and how do I win one?

Each week’s winner will receive a Top Chef cookbook and oven mitt. Unfortunately, judges will NOT be sent to the winner’s home to make sure that these items are used well.

What is the grand prize?

The team with the most points for the entire season will win $2500. (For details, see the official rules.) But, of course, that’s not why you want to pick a winning team. It’s all about love of the game, right?

How do I unsubscribe from team e-mail updates?

Just un-check the box for that update on your profile page. Or click the "unsubscribe" link on the e-mail itself.

What if my team ties another team in first place?

If more than one team ties for first place, several factors—including cumulative points for the season—will be used to break the tie. For details, see the official rules.

How do my friends and I follow each other’s teams?

Make sure that you are logged in to the game. Then use the "Invite Friends" link at the top right of every page. This will send an e-mail with your team name to your friends. If they go to the Edit Profile->Teams I’m Watching page, they can add your team name to their Watch List. Meanwhile, if they tell you their team names, you can add them to your Watch List in the same way.

How is the most valuable chef selected for each episode?

In the little-seen back rooms of BravoTV.com, our experts pick one chef per week who impressed us with skill, valor, or wiliness. That chef gets four extra points. Just to keep things interesting.
